Solace In The Rain

I fucking hate being sick.

For maybe the 3rd or 4th time in these last 4-5 weeks, I'm sick. But this time, I'm really sick. I had to stay home from school. While I was sitting around having a headache, a poem popped into my head. I haven't told you guys yet, but I like to write songs and poems. I decided to post it here for you guys to read. I've decided to name it - "Solace in the Rain."

You walk through the building
and you exit right here.
You walk to the coastline
and look at the pier.
You look at the creature in the sea
and it looks directly at me.
"Does he remember the rules?"
it says with a glance.
I shrug and you look at the forest 
as if in a trance.
The clouds roll in and rain starts to pour.
You look at the house and then walk through the door.
Take solace in the rain, there's nothing to fear.
Take solace in the rain.
It only means I'm near.

I don't know why I thought of a poem so random while I was in the middle of a headache.
In other news, my computer screen is probably because it keeps spazzing on and off.

I probably won't update this daily anymore unless some really weird stuff starts happening to me.

Halloween Pictures

I had expected to post these last night, but I ran into some problems.
My camera kept acting up whenever I tried to copy the photos from it and then the picture started glitching up.
Anyway, without further delay, here's the pictures I took.
The first few are from my window on the second floor of my house.

                              I'm not sure why or how I took this picture, but it does look pretty cool so I included it.

 The next 2 pictures is also really weird. It looked fine when I looked at it on my camera.

 This one is out of focus, but that's because I took it like that.

 The next pictures were taken after curiosity got the best of me and I decided to take some pictures from the other side of my front yard where I thought he couldn't see me.

In the above picture, he/she is looking at the camera. I got really worried when I saw the person looking at me so I ran back inside my house. When I looked outside of my window after I got back into my room, the person was gone. 

That's really the only unusual thing that happened this year. I wonder why they were just looking at my house. Maybe he was just a trick-or-treater who was thinking whether or not to ring the doorbell. Anyway, I'm sick for the third time this month, so I think I'll just end this post here.

This Is Halloween

Happy Halloween Everybody!

Personally, Halloween is my favorite holiday. It's the only day where you are allowed to change who you are into whatever you want to be without violating any school rules. I don't really go trick-or-treating much anymore, but I do still celebrate.

This year I decided to invite my friends over for a party. We talked, played games, and watched some horror videos. It's pretty interesting stuff that I could watch again, and none of my friends had watched it so we had a good time. Only weird part was when this guy in a pretty cool costume was just standing outside of my house. He didn't even move or anything for a while. We took a picture of him, cause his costume was pretty cool and we were kinda worried. I'll upload the picture later but for now I'll describe him. It was this guy wearing a black hoodie, a gas mask, and some jeans. His gas mask looked authentic. Anyway, I'll leave you guys with this:

Hi everybody.

I'm this awesome guy named Nathaniel Douglas. I created this blog as a way to cure my chronic boredom. I'll post about anything interesting that happens in my life. My life's not that interesting, but hey, it's not like I have anything better to do in my spare time.

Facts about me: I'm 17 years old and I live in a small town in California you've probably never heard about. I go to high school, like most people my age.
My best friend's this guy named Alexander. We've been friends for a long time.

I'll tell you guys about anything awesome that happens to me.

I also might post some weird philosophical crap or drawings, but probably not that often.
